LocaleDraft terms of use
Status and agreement
These are draft terms for review, dated September 7, 2026. The operating legal entity, business address, applicable jurisdiction and final dispute process must be supplied before adopting binding terms or starting live paid service. This draft does not retroactively change an existing agreement.
Accounts and access
Provide accurate account details, keep credentials private and use only accounts and resources you are authorized to access. You are responsible for activity under your account. Account owners must be adults or have a parent or guardian's permission where the service and applicable law allow it.
Plans and payments
Plan descriptions and allowances apply only when the relevant service is available and your account has verified access. Mock checkout and Stripe test payments do not charge real money or create paid cloud entitlements. Future live billing must disclose renewal prices, cancellation and applicable refund rights before payment. Credits are usage allowances, not cash or a guarantee of a fixed number of tokens.
Your content and models
You retain your rights in your content and grant Locale permission to process and host it only as necessary to provide the selected services. You must have the required rights to upload, publish or share content. Model output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. Review generated code and output before relying on it. Connected providers have their own terms and data practices.
Suspension and termination
To the extent permitted by law, Locale may restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, remove hosted content, or block usage at the owner's discretion for violations, unlawful content, abuse, security risks, excessive resource use, payment issues or conduct inconsistent with the service's intended use. Emergency action may occur without notice. Where appropriate, Locale will provide a reason and an opportunity to request review. Mandatory consumer rights, legally required refunds and data rights remain unaffected.
Availability and responsibility
Local device operations require an available Agent and your own backups. Cloud availability, storage retention and quotas depend on the enabled service. No uninterrupted availability or error-free model output is promised. Any warranty exclusions or liability limits in final terms will apply only to the extent permitted by law.
Changes and contact
Material changes to adopted terms should be announced before they take effect where required. Contact accounts@uselocale.dev for account matters or a suspension review. Do not send passwords, private keys or payment card details.
