Draft acceptable use policy
Hosted content
Do not host, publish or distribute illegal content through Locale. This includes child sexual abuse material, unlawful exploitation, credible threats, fraud, phishing, malicious software, and content that unlawfully violates intellectual property or privacy rights. Do not use hosted sites for scams or to impersonate another person or service deceptively.
Service abuse
Do not bypass allowances, expiry dates, authentication, billing or security controls; access another customer's content; send spam; mine cryptocurrency on shared resources without express permission; or interfere with the service or its providers. Automated use must stay within the relevant limits.
Publishing and enforcement
You are responsible for your site's content, its visitors and any data it collects. Obtain required permissions and provide appropriate notices. Locale may disable a site or account, preserve relevant evidence where lawful, investigate reports and cooperate with valid legal requests. Owner enforcement remains subject to applicable law.
Send the affected public URL and a concise description to accounts@uselocale.dev. Do not attach illegal material or unrelated private information. Account holders can request a review of enforcement decisions through the same address.
